Client: Arcteryx Alberta

Project Summary: For this project the client wanted to promote the new Fall/Winter 2024 product line along with one of their ambassador, Anna!

The problem, it was mid October. Still early for any reasonably safe backcountry touring since there is still not much snow. But the objective of the shoot was to have the photos posted in time for the Banff Mountain Film Festival (Oct 26-Nov 3) and to have the models be skiing/snowboarding powder in the shoot.

The solution: To go up high, and on a glacier since we know that there arn't rocks, trees, and bushes to take out the skier/snowboarders while riding. But this presents with some other challenges as well, access and egress from the glacier, technical knowledge and expertise
